At 6 am morning.

Help-help!, please somebody help me, crying and screaming, I suddenly woke up. Firstly I put a hand on my heart ahash! it’s still pumping, thanks to God I am alive.

What a horrible dream I murmured in half sleep.

Suddenly flashback of the dream was again memorized in my mind causing my eyes wet again. I saw someone close to me was met with death in front of me.

This thought in the morning disturbed me, but then.

I woke up properly and started the day.

Mid-day

Today my day is not going positive, that dream in the morning then my computer’s motherboard got damaged.

I need emergency funds but Bank’s server not working and then on way back home unable to find a bus or auto on the highway, so have to walk for 6km.

But somehow I manage to keep my mind positive throughout the day but seems like negativity has already surrounded me from every aspect.

Keeping that three idiot movie dialogue “all is well” in mind, somehow my day passed.

At 12 pm night

Me trying to sleep back hoping not to come to those dreams again, so, open up the music and start listening 🎧 .

Slowly I got into a sleep state 💤 .

Hardly It’s just 15 mins passed and A boom 💥 sound shook my head to my feet, a current of neurons woke me up, it felt like something terrible happened.

Actually, my room is near to the highway main road so, a lot of traffic sounds came, sometimes loud horns of trucks and buses.

But this is something unheard of before. Without wasting a single second I Run towards the balcony, the view outside forced my eyes to expand.

A heavy 6 wheeler dumper crashed on the main electric pole of our colony, and a bright spark covered up the environment and my eyes.

Story begins…

Shocked 😲+  afraid + panicked and many more emotional floods cause random sweating all over my body.

Anyhow tried to be calm, Seeing many people were deposited. Out of their house.

This is the time when many people were diving into sweet dreams but because of summer with 45-degree temperature, they can’t imagine sweet dreams without light.

Some people were shocked like me, some were wordless, some were shouting at the driver, and some are worried about the driver and the damages.

Then trying for everybody to keep calm an old man around 60 volunteered and requested others to help the driver first.

In a few min, with help of 4-5 men, now the driver is lying hopelessly without single damage on an iron bench beside small roadside bushes.

Furiously people ask him to explain the scenario, it seems like they are accepting that driver’s explanation will reverse the time.

But the driver is still bitten by a snake of silence.

The old man gathers the crowd’s attention again by shouting loud 🔊 “leave him, it’s an accident” we can’t blame him. It is good news that he is alive.

He sounds like a wise man in that crowd.

Suddenly, a voice came: you want us to keep shut, this man broke our one and only electricity pole, the whole of our colony is in darkness, how can we sleep now, how we will wake early to go on our jobs.

Listing to him the crowd were again in fire 🔥 mode.

Old man: I can understand your point of view but instead of blaming the victim, you should call the police and the electricity department.

It’s being 20 minutes, standing and staring without closing eyes 👀 to the whole film. I liked the active mind of the old man and then to escape from the hot, I climbed stairs to have some walk on the terrace.

It’s a full moon night, full of blinking stars. I think it Seems more beautiful due to the darkness and silence all around.

Still a little bit of noise coming from the road but it’s not enough to disturb the silence.

I start walking and start thinking numerous thoughts of the whole day. The highway is clearly visible from the terrace, and a police🚓 car chased by a truck 🚛 stops at the scene.

I know now the matter will be sorted by those people, as I have no role in this from the very start.

Again diving into the thoughts after walking a few rounds, my eyes saw something that I never observed in the past 10 years living at this home.

Observing the unknown.

My eyes catch a family, maybe two or three families sleeping calmly on the terrace without knowing what just happened a few metres away from their home.

In this era of the 22nd century, a single day becomes miserable if you think about it without electricity.

In fact, a few hours ago people are ready to fight on the road due to an electrical issue.

But

My observations now convert into many questions like,

how these people are sleeping so calmly without electricity?

is their body heatproof?

are mosquitoes don’t bite them?

do they didn’t feel embarrassed?

And then my eyes go to the Twinkling stars and moon, I felt the weather is slowly becoming windy as the night passes.

And then a thought makes my day and mind from all negative to positive.

Want to know that?

I became happy to understand that nature itself is taking care of these people.

It’s now 4 am in the morning, a hurray and joy shouting came from roadsides, it’s our electricity back. People on road are now moving to their homes back.

I think I should sleep too now, at least for 2 hours to get back to work.

A few lines dedicated to those fearless fellows

Hindi.

That!  Those whom you consider to be poor, who sleep fearlessly on the roofs.  Hey idiots, they are not afraid of going out of power.  Moon-stars are their friends.
