Word power made easy, should I really need to read?

About the author

My name is norman lewis and I am an author, grammarian, lexicographer, and etymologist, better known as a words teacher.

I lived a life of 93 years (Dec 30, 1912, to Sep 8, 2006), of which around 60 years are dedicated to words and meanings.

I wrote many best-selling books on words, but ‘word power made easy’ is one of the most satisfying works delivered by me.
It has taught many and I hope it will also work for you.

Why do aspirants love it?

Word power made easy, should I really need to read?

If you ever had read a few pages of this book, I think this content is not for you, cause you already know the important role of this book in the vocabulary section.

For any competitive exam from SSC to IAS, wherever English is a mandatory section, this book is recommended by experienced advisors.

One of my favourite reasons is that aspirants who want to focus only on vocabulary, just have to read till part one. Isn’t it good news?

How to dig it.

Norman started with a disclaimer – This is not a reading book… Don’t read this book! Instead, work with it.

Assume yourself as a teacher who has to explain to a kid, grab a pencil, or pen, speak loud while pronouncing new words, in gist, and try to live with it.

I can guarantee you, that this book will change the perspective you see the words.

Although, this book doesn’t claim, that you will remember every word of English.

Obviously, it is impossible for a human to remember 1,71,476 words, moreover, this book helps you with understanding the depth of words.

As per my experience, if you are able to be consistent and honest with yourself while working with this book, you will get the maximum out of it.

Remember, every day at the same time spend at least 1 hour honestly with it, and you will see improvement in just one month, if not you can openly comment below this article.

This is not shocking news for me, I know very well that the majority of sellers on online websites like Amazon, Flipkart and more sell a fake copy of the book for huge profits.
