What do Vincent Van Gough and I have in common?
The guy used every bit of angst he had to create the world-class art we love today.
And Me, well…
in 2018, I saw the biggest upset in my life. I FAILED
I FAILED MY 12th BOARDS.
Shocking for me, because, to that point, I had been a topper, Never failed once.
It took a while to get out of that rut. But like Van Gough, I use that feeling of despair to my advantage.
No, I’m not glorifying anything.
I’m just saying, no bad thing is ever always bad.
The world isn’t Black and White.
My bounce-back story began the moment I accepted this and stop caring about the world, about the marks, about the vanity, about my image…everything.🤷♂️
And at the time, Writing was my escape, words were my world, and books were my best friends.
Hence, I built a career around it.
Because if you keep worrying about ‘what the world says every time you take a step… you’ll never get anywhere.
Van Gough tore off his ears 👂 for the same reason.
But you don’t have to go that extreme.
Just trust yourself
✅ You know what is best for you
✅ Knowing everything isn’t necessary all the time
✅ Failure teaches you a lot; just take a step back
🧘♂️ Whether you get angry or frustrated or sad or angst… remember that emotional energy is a very strong tool.
If you manage to harness its power, you can ascend to greatness.
