Everyone has come here to play a role. Everyone’s film is combined into a big movie called The World.

हर कोई यहाँ एक भूमिका निभाने आया है। सबकी फिल्म को मिलाकर एक बड़ी फिल्म बनाई गई है जिसका नाम है दुनिया।

Starting the Movie of life

Imagine that life is a grand movie for a moment, and we are the actors on its vast stage.

The script? Written by some unseen divine director, whom many might call God.

Here, everyone has to play their unique role.

From the moment we are born, our character begins to unfold.

But here’s the twist: unlike the movies we watch on screen, we don’t get to choose our role, our setting, or even our co-stars.

What we do have control over is how we play the part given to us.

Act 1: Arrow Pulling

Our life begins with our first breath—the curtain rises, and we enter the world.

And our role has already been determined before we step onto the stage.

The family we are born into, the circumstances we face, and the opportunities we encounter are all part of the screenplay that we had no hand in writing.

For some, life begins in abundance, while for others, the stage is more humble, and filled with obstacles.

Yet, whether the opening scene is of comfort or struggle, it sets the stage for who we will become.

As we can’t change the opening scene now, the arrow is already dragged.

But here’s where we often forget an essential truth: We are not the director of this movie.

We are merely actors, playing our part.

Controlling direction!

Many of us believe we can control the storyline as we age.

But no matter how much we plan or strive, the plot takes unexpected turns—turns we never saw coming.

Life throws challenges, heartbreaks, joys, and moments of pure ecstasy at us, all of which are beyond our control.

This is the divine script at work, reminding us that while we may feel in charge, the pen has always been in someone else’s hand.

Does this mean we should give up on our aspirations?

Not at all. Instead, it teaches us something more profound—detachment.

Act 2: Launching Arrow

We start to see things differently when we recognize that life is a movie, and our part in it is just one chapter of a larger, cosmic story.

Getting attached to specific outcomes, successes, or failures, is like an actor becoming too absorbed in one scene. The movie continues, whether we want it to or not.

Detachment doesn’t mean not caring. It means accepting that our role is temporary, no matter how big or small, it will eventually end.

Just as an actor plays their role with passion and commitment but knows when to step off the stage, so should we live our lives fully without clinging to any particular chapter.

Letting go of attachment allows us to live more freely, more joyfully.

We stop worrying so much about how the plot will unfold and begin to embrace the present moment.

When we accept that we can’t control the entire story, we start to appreciate the beauty of what is, rather than constantly longing for what could be.

Act 3: Hitting the Target

Every movie must come to an end.

The curtain falls, the credits roll and the actors take their bow. Life is no different.

Whether our story is long or short, it will eventually reach its final scene.

Many of us fear this ending. We spend much of our lives trying to avoid the inevitable, holding on to youth, health, and the things we’ve accumulated along the way.

But just like an actor can’t stay on stage forever, we too must one day leave the spotlight.

However, when we view life as a movie, this ending becomes less frightening. It’s simply the close of one chapter.

Our role, which felt so important while we were playing it, is just one small part of the grand cosmic story.

The movie of life continues, with new actors stepping inn, new roles begun, and the eternal cycle continues.

Pack-up

So, how should we live in the movie of life? The answer is simple: Live freely, play your role with passion, but don’t cling to it.

As the movie of life unfolds, remember that no role is insignificant. Each of us contributes to the story in our way.

But when it’s time to step off the stage, let go with grace, knowing that you played your part.

Life is short. Enjoy the show.
